Charles
Craddock is a native of Mt.
Pleasant, Texas and obeyed the gospel under the teaching of Brother Paul
Hubbard. He is a graduate of Texas College, East Texas State University
(now Texas A&M—Commerce), and Southwest Texas State University. The
majority of his teaching career was in the Tyler Independent school
District. After spending 37 Years as a coach, teacher, and assistant
principal, Charles retired from public education. He later spent a
considerable amount of time in administration at his alma mater, Texas

Rufus Thompson
is originally from New
Summerfield, Texas, and graduated from Jacksonville Public Schools, and
is employed by The Trane Company. He obeyed the gospel at SouthCentral,
under Brother Darryl Bowdre, after being exposed to the Church by his
wife and his wife’s family. Immediately he began a habit of faithful
attendance to all services. He also applied himself to learning through
Bible classes Although the youngest of our deacons, and the youngest in
the faith, Rufus has grown spiritually in a tremendous way. He is a
willing, able, committed and talented worker.
